Nordic Walking

Join us every Monday from 8th January to 25th March 2024, for a refreshing Nordic Walking session at Groveland Park.

Time: 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Location: Groveland Park, Queen Elizabeth's Dr, London N14 6RD

Nordic Walking is a full-body exercise that's gentle on the joints and suitable for individuals of all ages and abilities. Using specially designed poles that engage upper body muscles and help propel the walker, Nordic Walking allows you to move at your own pace. Poles will be provided for you, however, you're also welcome to bring your own.

What to Expect:
- Full-Body Workout: Engage both your upper and lower body muscles in a low-impact exercise that's perfect for all fitness levels.
- Varied Terrain: Groveland Park offers a variety of surfaces, including undulating terrain and gentle hills, making it an ideal location to maintain or improve your fitness levels.
- Post-Walk Socializing: Enjoy socializing after the walk at the small café, and there are male and female toilets available.
- Free Parking: Parking is available on either side of the park in The Bourne and Broadwalk Roads and adjoining roads.
- Public Transport Access: The park can also be accessed by public transport, including the Piccadilly line to Southgate.
